I recommend that you spend two weeks in southern California and that you read "A Thousand Splendid Suns" by Khaled Hosseini. I just did and I enjoyed both very much. The weather and the book are both exceptionally good. Noreen

I got this book at a library resale. He's the author of The Kiterunner isn't he?...which I loved. I'll read this when I get the right moment.
